How to Straighten the Vagus Chicane

An example of how a seemingly diverse energetic perspective such as Joint anchor technique complements Kinesiology procedures.

Emma Acquarone

The Joint Anchor Technique (JAT) provides kinesiologists with a unique and energetic perspective on health problems.

This presentation illustrates this perspective by considering the idea that some sort of energetic misalignment of the atlanto-occipital joint can interfere with vagus nerve transmission, even if there were no recognizable indicators, physical or otherwise, to imply the misalignment of the vagus nerve articulation.

The presentation consists of 2 parts. First, it explores this idea and then demonstrates an energetic technique to restore alignment and remove interference.

Attuning to Full Potential

Alweena Awan

Attuning to Full Potential links both the client and the practitioner in a multi-dimensional journey towards realising their full potential. Vibrational icons, monitored through muscle responses, have the capacity to initiate profound changes in the clients by attuning them to remembering who they really are. At the same time, those icons allow the practitioners to work on themselves at profoundly deep levels, thus attuning to their own full potential and towards unlimited growth. As this process develops while using AFP, the effectiveness as a therapist will increase dramatically.

AFP helps you and the client to take responsibility for all behaviours and gives the permission to allow the release of old patterns, programs and habits. Releasing those parts of us that create experiences we no longer want creates space for healing to occur. In the process it helps us to let go of fear, to experience trust, or to surrender and Attune to our Full Potential. Releasing fears, distortions and patterns that currently separate us from who we really are, raises our level of consciousness.

AFP deals with imbalances on all levels: physical, chemical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. It adopts a holistic approach to dealing with issues and stress, using vibrational icons and muscle testing as a body monitor to identify where the client is experiencing blockages as imbalances in the mind/body/spirit system. It helps clear them in order to find a new comfortable balance and reach an enhanced consciousness.

The Emotions of Epigenetics

The discovery of DNA and genetics opens up a lot of doors for us to begin to understand the way that humans work. Genes give us an idea of the kind of building blocks that an individual has to work with. But we know that this is only the beginning of the story.

Epigenetics focuses on the signal that can turn the genes on or off. This is interesting because the focus here ends up being less on the actual gene itself and more on the way that the cell chooses to read or interpret those genes. We know that this can happen in response to signals that are chemical or electromagnetic.

“Epi” actually means ‘above’, so when we say ‘epigenetic control’ we mean exerting control over our lives above the level of genes.

We often think of the emotions and the mind as being sort of ‘above’ the physical body, whether this is really true or not. Emotions are broadcast throughout the body via chemistry, as in neurotransmitters, neuropeptides and hormones, and frequency in the form of vibration and morphogenic radiations, so it makes sense that these would have an impact and epigenetic affect as well. Genes are in a constant state of suppression or expression depending on the needs of our body at that moment. How stressed we are and what kind of environment we see ourselves as being in at that moment in time plays a big part in this.

In this presentation, we explore some ideas for using muscle response testing to identify stressors that are affecting genetic expression and simple balances to help you be your best.

Claire Hocking

Dip. Teaching | Cert A | AST1 | VIT | Edu-K

Lara, VIC, Australia

Claire Hocking is an Australian Educational Kinesiologist and Brain Gym Instructor and Director of the Whole Brain Learning Centre. Claire has extensively taught and used Edu-K and Brain Gym in preschool, primary and secondary schools, special developmental centers, health centers, and nursing homes.

Claire has specialised in the effects of retained early uterine, primitive and postural reflexes on learning, behavior and wellbeing for the past 25 years, and has presented at many national and international workshops and conferences.

The Importance of Balancing for the Early Uterine Reflexes

Full integration of all the early uterine reflexes, including the fear paralysis reflex, is vital for the successful development and integration of all other primitive and postural reflexes and are the basis of all future learning, functioning and development.

Unintegrated early uterine reflexes are the underlying cause of many learning, behavioural, ageing, health and mental issues, and can be the cause of many kinesiology balances ‘not holding’.

Claire will discuss the latest research and many case studies from her extensive kinesiology work, especially with autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, adolescents, mental health and in aged care.

Kate Keetley

Moving from Fear to Freedom: Balancing Emotional Stress

Times have been challenging for us all as we adapt to / struggle with life in a COVID normal world. This presentation explains one way of easing people into Kinesiology by providing a simple process which allows us to move forward from effort to ease, fear to freedom and confusion to clarity.

Emotional Stress may have a deep impact on many areas of our lives. Often arising from past experiences, it can block our flow preventing us from moving forward with day-to-day and long-term goals. Such stress manifests differently in each person and may have a negative effect on our health, our ability to work productively, personal and family relationships. It may also impact our social interaction and our ability to enjoy and get pleasure from our usual activities.

Moving from Fear to Freedom uses Kate’s fun, simple, adaptable practice (process) to balance the emotional stress around our goals, large and small. The presentation includes information slides, a demonstration of the Moro Reflex movement pattern and a Moving Forward balance to reduce emotional stress around a chosen goal … allowing us to move from Fear to Freedom.

Along the way we will notice how emotional stress may manifest in our bodies and identify retained reflexive movement patterns that contribute to under- or over-energy states. We will also playfully use positive language to personalise individual / group goals to make what we want abundantly clear.

Introduction to Analogue Muscle Testing

Developed by the late Alan Sales, this system of muscle testing determines the ultimate treatment.

“I have been using analogue muscle testing for the last 15 years and consider it the most exciting development we’ve had in kinesiology for a number of years”, Terry Larder.

Testing muscle response gives us a binary feedback (it’s either on or off). Not any more…. Learn how you can pick up and address so much more using analogue testing, for example with a 14-muscle balance. Simple to learn yet very effective – don’t miss this new dimension to add to your skills and you will achieve even deeper corrections for your clients.

Move to Live, Move to Learn

Integrative Health & Integrated Learning are the Perfect Partnership

Lee-Anne MacLeod

At our microscopic or sub-microscopic level, we are energy in motion. Every cell, every muscle, every neuron, every thought, is in a constant state of transitioning through motion.

We are like a magnificent orchestra of rhythm and movement, exquisitely harmonising at microscopic levels, as in an orchestral symphony, optimising all our actions and functions creating and giving us life.

This presentation takes us through the science of movement and how vital it is for us to move to calm ourselves sensorially and mentally. Lengthening our muscles and coordinating our movements, together with effective biomechanical movement of organs and fluids, leads to better neurological health and longevity.

Together we will balance and examine how Ipsilateral movements play a key role experientially with emotional and sensory regulation. By demonstrating simple, specific integrative movement patterns to helping improve thought processing as we use NDIL (Neuro-muscular Dynamic Integrative Learning) and NDIH (Neuro-muscular Dynamic Integrative Health), unique Quantum Healing Modality techniques. Health effects learning and learning effects health.

Let’s enjoy together some interactive, experiential movements, both isolated and synchronised, as we explore the part they play in the fluidity and vitality of movement of energies and sensory concerns, within individuals.

These interactive optimal learning opportunities, encourage increased awareness, improved educational values. Supporting our sensory learning abilities.

Sarah Moss

B.Mgmt | Kinesiology | Sai-K | NSR

Derby, WA, Australia

Sarah has been helping others through Kinesiology (and previous modalities) for about 20 years. Sarah works predominantly with country people and having been in the Kimberley for over 3 years now works with a very diverse group of people.

There is a lot of inter-generational trauma in the North West of Australia and learning to understand the culture, the language and the definition of family has really added to Sarah’s knowledge base.

Sarah’s main love is to work with the emotions, usually through physical pain.

Connecting Cultures through Dural Torque – Physical and Emotional Twist

Sarah Moss

Living in the Kimberley Region of WA which is considered “very remote”, Sarah works with many Indigenous people of all ages. Sarah works with many children under 18 who are on bail and working their way through the Youth Justice system, people who are on NDIS programs and those working in various roles throughout the Kimberley. There are many cultural challenges, intergenerational trauma and Sarah considers it an honour to be working so closely with these remarkable people. Immersing herself in their culture has been fascinating and a steep learning curve. Sarah finds that many of her clients present with physical pain and the Dural Torque technique she has developed is a really powerful way to access the emotional trauma they deal with every day.

This technique is one that Sarah has varied and found very useful in her clinic. It often comes up if people have a “torque” in their physical body. Often one hip and/or will be higher than the other and they often complain of lower back pain or feeling too “loose” or too “tight” in the hip area. The causes can often be linked to sitting for too long where the Psoas is in a constantly contracted posture, from heavy lifting and usually from stored emotional issues.
Sarah has found that the emotional component is huge and is often related to emotions that are stored in the Psoas, Piriformis and Quadratus Lumborum muscles.

Show Me The Energy Technique

Sue Southern

In 2015 Sue’s path to kinesiology opened. She soaked-up the learning, was astonished by the revelations of muscle-response testing and that no guess-work was involved to resolve personal problems as well as those of others. Sue loved every amazing minute working through to her Diploma qualification, learning in the region of 200 techniques and protocols.

Then clients arrived with long lists of symptoms; pioneer Kinesiologist Sheldon Deal described this as “a seething mass of compensations”. Sue found it was necessary to guess which techniques to use to restore balance. This presented a challenge and a quest; where to begin without guessing and without an excessive amount of muscle-response testing?

‘Logical thinking’ can mislead when we are working with complex energy. We have access to far more than we may realise. We are sitting on a nest-egg of opportunities to go wider with our capabilities and knowledge. What Sue shares in this presentation is a single, simple, yet very effective method to get to the priorities for your client sessions.

Energy is our life-force, it is the thing that powers us, organises and activates the body, it is what triggers life from the first point of conception. Energy is what you work with as kinesiologists with the fine-tuning that your work enables you to achieve. There is an aspect of energy that so often goes undetected. That is the fact that your energy is its own intelligence and much of the time it knows where/what the priorities are and, if you ask, it will show you. So, if we set our logical thinking aside, and be open to be guided by the energy of our clients (and our ourselves), we can gain access to a reliable way forward.

Show me the energy is a deep and profound way of getting in touch with yourself and your clients. It will open doors and avenues that may not otherwise be reached and yet be a significant priority to clear. Using this technique repeatedly will be highly beneficial to those using it and receiving it. As your energy grows its experience of working this way, it will become increasingly rewarding. Yet it is important to set aside the urge or the need to know or understand what it is that is being cleared. The vast majority of issues do not need this insight. There are occasions where it is useful to know, but these are rare in relation to all there is to clear away to brighten and balance the energy. Sue will demonstrate how to work with this method.
