Refund Policy
All your usual consumer rights apply when you purchase a ticket/package online. Tickets/packages purchased are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable if you change your mind about the purchase of a ticket/package. The only time we would offer a full refund of a ticket is if the 2022 Diverse and United Online Kinesiology Conference is cancelled. If we issue you a refund for a ticket due to the cancelled event, we will issue a refund of the ticket’s face value paid minus service and/or ticket fees and minus a $50 administration fee. This does not apply to post-event packages.
The conference recordings and eJournal are copyright; all rights reserved, and remain full property of the AKA Inc. and the authors. The recordings and eJournal may not be reprinted, copied or reproduced without the written permission from the authors. The recordings exclude live Question and Answer sessions, Breakout Rooms and any panel or other discussions. Recordings will be accessible for 12 months from the date of the conference. Media Release Policy
By engaging at this event via video, audio or chat, you grant permission to the Australian Kinesiology Association (AKA) Inc. and its agents and employees the irrevocable and unrestricted right to reproduce the chat, photographs and/or video images and audio taken of you. These images may be used in all forms of media (including printed materials) for art, promotional purposes (including, but not limited to, advertising, publicity, commercial, or display use), illustration, exhibition, editorial, trade, or in any other manner or in any medium. This right extends to both domestic and foreign markets.
You therefore release the AKA Inc. and its legal representatives for all claims and liability relating to said images or video. Furthermore, you waive your right to any compensation.
(For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) you also understand that images of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders may appear in printed and electronic material for several years. If you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, the AKA Inc. will take reasonable steps to prevent the images from appearing on material published after your death. However, you understand and agree that, despite those efforts, the images may still be published or disseminated.
Masterclasses
Masterclasses are live only and will not be recorded. Masterclasses are not included in a conference ticket or package.
